NOPE. Unsubscribe. From all of them. Disabling, when it comes to these crashes, does absolutely NOTHING. Before you go through all of them and try to uninstall them all, tell me:
-How many addons you have (estimate)
-If you have verified game cache

I have around 200 Addons, and I have verified my cache many times. Thank you I will try to remove all of my addons and see if that works

Remove about 100 of them and see if it will work. Deleting all of them isn’t quite necessary, but GMod is EXTREMELY unstable with anything above 100 addons. Common troublemakers are:
CW 2.0 and other weapon bases colliding, such as m9k
Overload of models
SCars and TDM Cars conflicting
SNPCs or Nextbots being installed

I did not at all mean to be sarcastic, I am very sorry, what I meant was that you provided alot of usefull info and I wanted to thank you for that. Honestly, I am very gratefull even though it is still acting weird. I guess I should of double checked my comment before I posted

просто у тебя какой то аддон не походит на движок сурс гмод, когда я хотел поставить с кс 1.6 оружие на гмод, у меня тоже самую ошибку выдало

у меня такая же ошибка была, поставил аддон оружии, при этом находился в игре, перезашел, и вышло такое же окно, удалил аддон оружии, и запустилась.
Kaspian Jefersonov, Я тоже удалил аддон, но не пропала ошибка

As the title says, my hammer keeps crashing with CMDLCache Out Of Memory error. This happens when I use the model browser and search for models. I’m not sure what causes it, but searching tree has crashed it 100% of the time. This problem has been happening for months. I’ve tried validating the files and restarting my computer, but nothing has fixed it.
Have you tried increasing your heap size?

You need to add this in you shortcut for TF2.
You right click on your shortcut on your desktop & go to properties. Then add the heap code after all of the text in your target box.
Or you can right click on TF2 in steam and add the heap code by right clicking, going to properties, and then clicking “set launch options”

It’s a known error, saw some posts about it earlier. Try changing the size of your page file or disabling/enabling multi-core support in your options.

Ok guys, thanks for the responses. None of those are the correct solutions though
I found this out googling through dozens of other forums. Basically Vista and 4GB of VRAM don’t play nicely.

I got the Load lump 53 error, the CMDLCache Out of memory error and the CMeshDX8 error. I believe I actually had two problems, a bad install of DX9 and the video RAM issue. Anywho, that Microsoft patch and reinstalling DX9 and drivers helped. I can play at full resolution with only a little micro stutter
For the record, I have no page file atm, and multi-core enabled. All settings maxed at 2560×1600. This card is great

I hope it helps someone else googling for an answer! I spent two days trying to figure out what was wrong!
Sry to bring up such an old old post, but I have now ran into this issue… except one thing is different. I am running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate! Every solution to this problem has been for windows vista and the way it handles it’s memory allocation. But when I tried to install that hotfix it said it wasn’t needed. So I have been googling for the past hour or so now and didn’t find anything. So I came here to see if anyone else had found out something different about this and windows 7.
I’m getting the: Can’t load lump 53, allocation of (insert random number) bytes failed! Engine Error
Makes me sad, it only happens when I load maps, but it’s like… EVERYTIME I load a map.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
