Sorry for not providing more information. The error is from rflowcollector.exe version 3. This is a program running on Windows (XP in this case). I am not aware of any updates to this program, which as I recall was released ~2007. It is connected to a mysql 5.0 database.

Rflow collects traffic data from dd-wrt routers. It is no longer supported as far as I can tell. I don’t see the binaries listed on the dd-wrt website as referred to in this wiki:

I have been running it for 10+ years collecting data from a variety of dd-wrt based routers of various vintages. It has been working fine up until recently.

I don’t know if the error is due to a hard-coded limit on the number of routers or clients, or some corruption. The database appears to be intact and passes checks.

I searched the dd-wrt forums and could not find any reference to the error message. I was hoping someone might know what the error indicates so I can resolve the issue. Currently the program pops up this error every few minutes and the program finally crashes.

While writing this response I wondered if the problem might be due to a corrupt rflow.cfg file. I restored an older version of the file, as so far the program is running without error. So, that may be the cause and resolution.

Hi,
I have looked at the compiled program, and think I may have found an indication of what its going wrong.
When I run the compiled program, the first time it is run, the error is reported, but all subsequent times the program runs without error – but does not function. Only by re-compiling the program is the error again reported.

I compared the files of the program before and after the first time it is run, and indeed one of the files changed.

In the sub directory Settings is a file named HARDWARE.INI

Right after the program is compiled, but before the program has been run the file contents are.

The Phidget Interface Kit has a serial number of 8862 = 0x15736 so this file looks to set up the address of the Phidget ( They are addressed by serial number ).

After the program has been run and the error “Listenindex überschreitet das maximu” is displayed, the HARDWARE.INI file is changed — the contents is now

When the program is run again the program does not function, I assume as its now addressing a Phidget of serial number 22326 rather than 87862.

Is it possible that when operating in the development environment, the serial number is taken as a 64 bit number, where when compiled it is taken to be only 32 bit, so truncating the stored number ?

Have tried changing the serial number from the Front panel and the dialog box will not take a serial number above 4 digits.

    Default Error Message At Startup

    all of a sudden im getting this error message when i try and start my spybot program.
    its in german.
    this is what is says:
    Listindex Uberschreitit das maximum (17)

    then, if i close that out and try to run spybot, it scans for about 5 seconds and says 0 problems found.

    but we all know it takes several minutes to do a complete scan.

    as far as i can tell this all began after i ran my last update, and installed the update, whatever it was.

    can anyone tell me whats up? should i uninstall the program and reinstall it?

    i appreciate anyone who can help me out, who may have had this problem.

    The problem was cause by updates that were incompatible Spybot-S&D 1.3. Although those updates have been replaced the problem persists because Spybot-S&D 1.3 gets the above message when attempting to load those updates.

    Unless you are running Windows 95 you should upgrade to Spybot-S&D 1.4. If you are running Windows 95 do not attempt upgrading to Spybot-S&D 1.4 (there is an alternative � see #2 below).

    1. To upgrading to Spybot 1.4. There are four (4) download sites for Spybot-S&D 1.4 here:

      Uninstall Spybot-S&D 1.3:

    2. For people running Spybot-S&D 1.3 on Windows 95 who can not upgrade to Spybot-S&D 1.4, I suggest that you try manually updating the detection rules as follows:
