Operation: Black Tulip is a //BLACKNET mission in Prototype 2. It is found in the Yellow Zone of New York Zero.

Capture Site[]

The Blacknet terminal is located in an area inaccessible to the general public, so once James Heller assumes an appropriate disguise, he taps into the terminal. The person he needs to find is Corporal Jeffrey Fasolo. Using his sonar ability, Heller tracks down Corporal Fasolo and consumes him.

Unleash the Beast[]

Heller travels to a site where Gentek has captured a Brawler, intent on unleashing it on the populace as part of a scientific test. Once Heller releases the Brawler from its cage, the mutant then goes on a rampage down the streets. Heller pursues the infected creature and, after cornering the beast, consumes it before it can cause any harm.

Six Feet Under[]

After evading the military, Heller returns to the terminal. This time, he gets information on Corporal Tino Antonelli. After accessing Antonelli’s database, Heller learns of a team of Blackwatch scientists visiting an underground Lair trying to capture potential specimens.

Having a Brawl[]

Heller enters the lair to find a Blackwatch squadron under attack. Fighting his way through the crossfire, Heller finds a containment unit under guard and learns the science team has already captured a promising specimen — another Brawler. Heller decides to show them the error of their ways by unleashing the specimen from its cage. The Brawler makes its way to a large chamber, with Heller in pursuit. Using the arsenal of weaponry in the area to his advantage, Heller weakens and consumes the Brawler, improving one of his offensive powers.
