• On your Windows PC & laptop, press Windows + R key altogether to open the RUN box.
• Type TEMP and click on Ok.
• The temporary folder will now be up and you will see huge files and folders here. Press Ctrl + A to select all and then press the Delete key.

FIX 2 – Clear Discord Cache

This is another major reason for Discord “Well this is Awkward” crash error. Discord cache causes many such related issues like Discord stucking on a grey screen.

Does anyone know how to fix this, it appears in both the app and webrowser version for discord, i don’t know what to do and i’ve tried doing a clean reinstall and that didn’t work, can someone please help?

edit: based on what people have said and the fact others have this issue, it seems the servers are messed up for pc and webrowser, so that seems to be the issue, hopefully it fixes on its own

Describe the Bug

Just like the name suggests, as soon as I try to open the settings in Discord, the screen appears and forces Discord do refresh. I’ve tried unmounting any plugins or themes I had, and even tried to reinstall BetterDiscord outright to no effect. The recent update to that updated the image and video preview in chat may be the cause. I’m attaching a screenshot of said screen.

Sorry for the different language, but I’m not bothered to uninstall BetterDiscord to switch it and install it again just to reproduce the bug.
